Angela Kenyatta is the Founder & Managing Principal of Strategic Change Solutions, a Chicago-based professional services firm that specializes in the design and delivery of organizational change, wide-scale transformation and enterprise capability building solutions to industry leading businesses and institutions across the United States and abroad. Her client roster includes industry leaders in the health care, manufacturing, financial, consumer goods, technology, professional services, education and media sectors et al.
Previously, Angela worked as a leadership coach for a five-year collaborative initiative of the Harvard Business School, the Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Graduate School of Education that focused on building public-private partnerships dedicated to creating equitable opportunities for children of color. Angela is an alumnae Public Policy Fellow (IEL, Washington, DC) and completed the Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Development Program (KYDS III).
Angela has an extensive track record of social justice advocacy, community activism and service. She has served on a number of boards for mission-driven organizations focused on maternal/infant health promotion, women's wellness, arts and culture, youth development and increasing civic engagement among marginalized groups. Her contributions have also included work with an adult literacy project, a reentry program for incarcerated women, and a center for teen mothers —among others.
Angela's latest venture, One Destiny, is a social innovation and impact hub that brings together thought-leaders, change makers, artists, entrepreneurs, institution-builders and other influencers committed to collaborative change. The mission of One Destiny is to transform the individual expertise, talent, resources and connections of its members into collective genius that can be leveraged to solve the most pressing issues facing the community.
